Hidden Figures is truly an inspiring story about some amazing black women who were apart of NASA Space program. These women are the powerful mathematicians who helped put men in space.    Before seeing this movie, I was not even aware of any of these women Katherine Johnson, Mary Jackson, and Dorothy Vaughan.  The movie also represented an unspoken sisterhood between black women that was truly heartfelt. The roles were played by three phenomenally talented women Taraji P. Henson played Katherine G. On Sunday, we went to see the #1 movie at the box office, The Perfect Guy starting Saana Lathan, Michael Ealy, and Morris Chestnut.  It was a stunning performance by Saana Lathan and Michael Ealy.  To see her in a take charge, stand your ground, and fight was awesome.  Now, Michael Ealy played the perfect guy who was smart, fine, and psychotic is the word I will use for his role.  It was nice to see him play this type a role because he usually plays the good guy.  What can I say about Morris Chestnut?  He always shines and in his role he stood up to Carter Duncan.  This was a love story with a twist of suspense and drama.  It will keep you on your edge of your seat and even had us jumping a few times.  Carter was charming, he paid attention to detail, and he even past the girlfriends test. By now many have seen the movie, Addicted based on the novel by Zane a best selling author.  In the movie, Zoe is addicted to sex and because of her addiction she puts at risks her business, her family, and her marriage.  It was truly an erotic thriller with various twists that kept your attention through out the movie.  So it raises the question, have you ever been addicted to someone? This movie hit theaters on June 19th and #WOWED the country.  I love the fact that it's not being categorized as a Black Film but as a movie with diversity, comedy, love, and a positive message.  There were many plots to follow, but on of my favorites is that mama boys do stand up to their mama's in a respectful manner and get married.  It was an awesome movie with great comedy, great acting, and a great cast of all of my favorites.  Kevin Hart is hilarious and plays the role extremely well.  I love the fact we got to see the ladies cut up in this movie too at the strip club.  Yes, Taraji P. Henson, Megan Good, La La Anthony, Regina Hall, and Gabrielle Union outstanding performance.  Let's not forget the outstanding performance from the fellas in the movie to Michael Ealy, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Hart, Romany Malco, Terrence Jenkins, and Gary Owen.
